Dogs are the most complex animals at all
Forget dolphins, or whales, or any other animal that is claimed to be complex. Dolphins are restricted to the water, but dogs can find their way into any living environment. They grasp situations at a speed and implement their experience from these situations as solutions for their survival.
For me, there is no nicer compliment than having dogs treat me as one of them. The only problem with that is that aggressive dogs also treat me as one of them. And that it is extremely exhausting, because dogs are so insanely fast and adjust and match their behavior etc. at a speed that is breathtaking.
